Volunteering
There are plenty of ways to support the Labour Party in Hastings & Rye. Perhaps you could help with a leaflet round, or help with canvassing and, of course, we can never have too many envelope stuffers!
So even if you haven’t much time to spare, there will still be lots of ways you can get involved. If you’d like to chat about what you can do, please get in touch.
Become a member
If you are interested in joining the Labour Party, please click here or call our membership hotline on 08705 900200. It can cost as little as £2 per month.
Discuss, debate and decide
Party members may choose to attend their local branch meeting. There are five local meetings across the constituency – Rye, Central Hastings, East Hastings, North Hastings and West Hastings. Please contact us to find out where your local meeting is held. Attendees of these monthly meetings debate local and national political issues. Local borough, district and county councillors also attend.
There is also a monthly meeting held at the Hastings & Rye constituency office (The Ellen Draper Centre, 84 Bohemia Road, St Leonards-on-Sea). All local branches send delegates to attend this meeting. Labour members who are not delegates can still attend but will not be able to vote.
